Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to run the site and respond to you:
- Emails you send us. This site does not use a contact form. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
- Order information. When you order a product on this site, including free downloads, WooCommerce collects the details needed to complete your order, such as your name, email address, billing information, and order details. Once payments are enabled, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number or other payment card details.
- Download records. When you download a product, WooCommerce records the download (such as the date and time and your IP address) so we can manage access to your downloads.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies. See the “Cookies” section below.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This site uses only functional cookies:
- Functional cookies set by WordPress and WooCommerce, for example to keep items in your shopping cart, remember your session during checkout, or keep you logged in to your account.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the shopping cart, may not work properly without functional cookies.
Third-party links and services
This site may link to third-party websites. Once payments are enabled, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites and services, and we encourage you to review their policies.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Reply to your emails and questions
- Process and fulfill orders, including delivering digital downloads
- Prevent spam and protect the security of the site
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
If you tick the email opt-in box at checkout, we use your email address to send occasional BW Sigma tips and new-release emails through our email provider; you can unsubscribe anytime.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the site, such as our web host (IONOS) and, once payments are enabled, our payment processor, and only as needed for them to provide those services
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up. Order and download records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at info@bradwardman.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We may keep certain information when we are required to by law, such as order records needed for tax purposes.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us at info@bradwardman.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
